At CYE we have built a reputation for excellent provision of exciting and adventurous activities. As a Christian organisation, we share the gospel in what we do and how we work, therefore it is a genuine occupational requirement for post-holders to be a committed Christian.

Operations Manager

Do you have a passion for developing team? Do you love both fast-paced problem solving and long-term strategic planning? Are you committed to Jesus, and want to make an impact for His kingdom?

Christian Youth Enterprises is looking for an excellent manager to drive forward their vision of sharing the Gospel, enabling the holistic development of our guests, volunteers and staff, and equipping the next generation of Christian leaders. You would be responsible for the day-to-day running of our Sailing Centre in Chichester Harbour where over 3000 visitors, predominantly young people, enjoy adventurous activities every year in a loving Christian environment. You would be the point-person for operational decisions, as well as having significant influence on the culture and strategic direction of the charity.

This role is not for the faint hearted. It is wide ranging, at times demanding, and requires experience of both watersports and people management. You will need excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to motivate and utilise the strengths of your team. However, the payoff is huge: you will grow rapidly in your abilities as a leader and manager, see the changes you implement bear fruit and have significant positive impact in the lives of others.
