CYE has over 30 years of experience providing outdoor activities and residentials to a wide range of schools. Each programme is unique and our dedicated team ensures that every detail is met and that pupils and teachers get the most from their stay.

“I just wanted to drop a line to say a HUGE THANK YOU for the amazing experience that our year five class had at CYE last week. I have been on many residential experiences over the years, to many different settings, but have never experienced care of the quality that CYE provided. Your provision is exceptional and I feel extremely fortunate that our children were able to take part in it” Head Teacher

Dear CYE team, thank you for amazing trip and wonderful cabins and epic activities. I loved the assault course it was so cool. The lunch was so refreshing and that was the best trip ever, from Toby (Year 4)

Dear CYE, I really enjoyed my stay especially tunnelling, I loved Jack’s King Julian voice! I found out you can ask for help when you’re struggling. CYE might be the best time of my life and the Chocolate Wobbly Bottom was amazing, I didn’t think I would like the chicken pie and I did, thank you. From Arthur (Year 5)

“I wanted to send a note to say a huge thank you to you for the time you spent showing T— around CYE. You made him feel very comfortable and totally at ease with the trip and he thoroughly enjoyed himself there. He said that if he hadn’t visited first he wouldn’t have gone. Thank you once again for helping him. Best wishes” (Mother)

“This has been the most incredible trip. We have loved it all and are genuinely so sad to be leaving. The children have been so calm, welcomed and have been able to have such fun in a safe way. The leaders, as always, have been phenomenal. What I’ve been especially impressed with is that whenever a child is alone, even for a minute, a member of CYE staff spots it and goes over to play with them, build sandcastles etc. They have made each activity fun, with great games and understood the needs of the children and their tiredness! This is such a special place. We treasure coming here hugely and you are doing so much right here. What an experience our children (and us!) get. Thank you for everything.” (Teacher, May 2023)
