We are asking all of our supporters to pause before donating to CYE this Autumn and consider giving later in the year so that your donation can be doubled, supporting our work in developing young leaders.

What's it all about?

Thanks to help from generous CYE donors and 'Big Give' every donation made to CYE (via Big Give) will be doubled from 12 noon on Tuesday 1 December until 12 noon on Tuesday 8 December, while match funding lasts. *

Put simply

You donate £10, we get £20
You donate £50, we get £100
You donate £2,500, we get £5,000...

...you get the point.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Some generous CYE donors have pledged £7,500 in order to be able to secure match funding and Big Give have added £5,000 to this pot. This means that £12,500 is ready and waiting to match YOUR DONATIONS - which means that by maximising the number of donations that are given via Big Give during this campaign week, we maximise the opportunity for this match funding.

In order for your donation to be doubled you MUST give via Big Give and not in any other way - bank transfers and donations via our website won't be match funded.

THE IMPACT

CYE’s Big Give Campaign this year will support our work in developing young leaders.  For 26 years we’ve been equipping young people aged between 18 and 25 with skills and confidence through a structured year of training and development.  This programme combines professional training, qualifications, mentoring and practical responsibility within a supportive Christian Community and trainees develop the skills to deliver our entire activity programme to the children and young people who visit CYE throughout the season.

The impact keeps growing

Each year we are privileged to meet over 2,500 young guests who join us for adventurous activities, life-affirming opportunities and hope-building relationships.  Each day we see young people facing new challenges, overcoming difficulties, growing in confidence and sparking new relationships.  We help them to grow in resilience, adaptability, skills and teamwork as they play together and learn more about their own amazing value and wonderful uniqueness.  As a team of Christians, we share about the incredible hope and joy that our faith in Jesus gives us.  We love to help young people in navigating their own spiritual walks by coming alongside them with care, curiosity and compassion. Young people go home more hopeful, more joyful and more connected with others after they’ve spent time at CYE.

As the trainees grow, they help to nurture growth in others, as they lead, leadership is inspired, as they face their own challenges they help to walk others through difficult moments into the confidence of self assurance! INCREDIBLE.
