However you’re able to be involved, volunteering at CYE is about more than filling a role. It’s about joining a community that walks with young people as they grow in confidence and faith. Many volunteers find CYE a place to belong AND find their own faith strengthened along the way.
Trainee activity Leader programme
For 18–25 year olds, our Trainee Programme is a time of growth and stretching that begins with a year-long commitment with opportunities to serve and develop beyond that. You’ll take on real responsibility in leading activities, while being mentored and discipled in community. It's a time of learning, first, to follow Christ and then to lead others well.

Come and join the CYE team as a regular admin volunteer!
We’re looking for someone who can give 4–8 hours a week, on a Wednesday or Thursday, to help with the work that keeps our busy Christian activity centre running smoothly.
Good administration is central to what we do. Helping things run well in the office makes a real difference to the welcome, care and adventures we offer children and young people here in Chichester Harbour.
We’d love to talk with you about your skills and interests and agree a regular set of tasks together. You’ll have clear responsibilities, support from our staff and the chance to use your strengths, learn something new and become a valued part of our lively, friendly team.
This is an unpaid volunteer role, offering a meaningful way to give your time, get involved in the life of CYE and help young people grow in confidence, faith and joy.
