CYE 10:10 is our annual fundraising adventure. Each year we invite people in our community to step out of their comfort zone, take on a challenge and help more children and young people experience the confidence, belonging, joy and hope that CYE is all about.
The focus of our fundraising is for our bursary fund, making sure cost is never the reason someone misses out on the adventure.

Our bursary fund makes it possible for more young people to come to CYE, offering up to 40% off the cost of our events to under 25's who find that finances are a barrier to coming. The bursary scheme is funded by donations and we need as much help as we can to fill it so that we can offer bursaries to as many young people as possible.

The fees we charge for events are only part of what it costs to run them – some of these costs are obvious and some are less so. We do everything we can to keep them as low as possible, but for many people the fees are still out of reach. We believe that this doesn’t have to stop people being able to come along and experience all that CYE has to offer and we invite anyone who feels they need it to apply for a bursary from our fund.
By supporting CYE 10:10 you’re helping to keep our bursary fund full – enabling more people to be able to access a reduction in fees.

Saturday 10th October 2026
You can join in with the fun run, gather a team to make a cardboard boat and then race it in the harbour, or bring your friends to take on a raft race challenge. Find out below how to sign up.
If the adventure challenge is a bit too much of a stretch for you this time, you're welcome to come along on the day to bring your support and enjoy refreshments from Cafe Resolute plus activities and fun from 10am until 4pm.

fun run
Choose which fun run event you'd like to take part in - (the sign up link is the same for all events, there'll be an option within registration to let us know which event you want to take part in)

£25 entry fee for adults, (you're invited to make a voluntary contribution for entrants under 18), then gather sponsorship via the fundraising platform Zeffy (link below).
You're welcome to run as a family, we ask that children under 12 are supervised by an adult for the whole course.
Cardboard Boat Race
Gather a team for a wonderfully creative (and probably very active) challenge. Build your cardboard boat in the morning and then choose one team member to race your boat against the other teams in the afternoon.
£50 entry fee per team.
No minimum team size, all ages welcome
Lunch voucher provided for all team members
We'll provide all the tools and craft materials you'll need including cardboard and environmentally friendly paints.
Raft race
Bring your team to race against others in rafted canoes. Heats will take place in the morning and there'll be a 'final' in the afternoon.
£50 per team
Teams of 4, age 8+
