There are so many opportunities for young people to get involved at CYE. With activity days, sailing courses, holiday camps, youth events, training and volunteering opportunities - this is YOUR place!
Camps
Our residential camps take place in the school holidays. They're filled to the brim with wild activities, great fun, connection with friends and inspired invitations for spiritual growth.
Ignite
For ages 9 – 12, Ignite is the name for our camps that bring wild adventure and faith exploration to our youngest group of campers. There’s a shorter event in the spring and full-sized camps in summer. Plus, for those wanting to ‘try out’ CYE and see if camp vibes are their thing, Ignite sleepover in the autumn is open to ages 7 – 10 for one night filled to the brim with fun.
Blaze
These are our camps for young people ages 12-15. You can find Blaze events in spring, summer and autumn! Each camp has an action-packed programme of activities, themed wide-games, time hanging out with friends and plenty of general silliness. There'll also be inspiring talks, helping you to grow in your faith, plus worship and support from discussion groups.
Inferno
These high-action summer camps are for people aged 15-18. Get stuck into activities galore; often with the chance to try out high performance sailing, or kick back with friends and chill out on the water if that’s more your thing! Inferno campers are definitely not too old for themed games – expect challenge, hilarity, mess and a unique kind of fun that many come back for year after year. Plus inspirational speakers and opportunities to grow in your faith in life-changing ways.
BURSARIES
We believe every young person should have the chance to join in at CYE and our bursary fund can help make that happen. If the full cost of an event would be a barrier for someone under 25, you can apply for a CYE bursary which may contribute up to 40% towards the cost.
Activity Opportunities
Come to CYE and try out our activities, or upskill with our courses for young people.
Multi ACtivity Days
Come for the day to enjoy instructor-led activities on and off the water. These days take place at various times through the season.
Sail and Paddle courses
A chance to get qualified in watersports. CYE is affiliated with the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and we're qualified to teach and assess the RYA sailing levels. We're also joined to Paddle UK, and offer courses that can help to equip you with excellent kayak-handling skills.
