Volunteering
Christian Youth Enterprises Sailing Centre is heavily reliant on, and constantly indebted to, our amazing network of volunteers. Our supporters come from far and wide and range from 18 year olds who have just left school through to our regular Monday and Tuesday workers – the KOGs (Kevin’s Old Geezers).
Being a volunteer of CYESC is a great way to keep in touch with what’s going on at the Centre, join up with old friends and genuinely help CYESC in helping to deliver programmes and maintain the high standards around the site. There are many opportunities in which you can help, including:
Water-based activities - sailing, canoeing, kayaking, powerboating, surfing, lifeguarding, first aid etc.
Non-water-based – spiritual input (e.g. speaking on events, discipleship etc), curriculum and schools’ advice, photography/videoing, site maintenance/practical, teaching, business experience, catering, IT/technical, pastoral care, discipleship training etc.
