We offer a unique opportunity to experience the very best in watersports training and adventure activity holidays in a safe and enjoyable way. Regardless of the type of event you choose, our team of well qualified and experienced staff are dedicated to providing you with an exciting and fulfilling event in a very special environment to come and “share the adventure.” We hope this website offers all the information you need to be able to book with confidence.

	We can launch at all states of the tide providing access to the vast range of beaches, inlets and places of interest.
Our base includes “The Gerald Daniel” an ex-naval minesweeper offering compact but novel accommodation in cabins for up to 40 people.
On shore we have teaching rooms, changing rooms, toilets and showers, and games areas.

CYESC is on the shores of Chichester harbour; an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Nearby towns and villages such as Bosham, Fishbourne Chichester and Portsmouth provide non-sailing places of interest.

CYESC staff and volunteers are Christians committed to working among young people, adults and families, providing healthy outdoor activity, fun, education and training in a Christian environment. The centre is fully inclusive, welcoming all, regardless of background or experience. During each event we take time to explore something of the good news contained in the Bible and offer a chance for people to see its relevance for themselves. There is no pressure or compulsion to take part; it is simply an opportunity for those who are interested.

Staff and volunteers leading activities are experienced and fully qualified. Activities are run in accordance with a comprehensive set of operating procedures, risk assessments and governing body guidelines. We receive regular inspections and approval from appropriate governing bodies and agencies including licensing by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority.   (tel: 029 2075 5715) Safety
The safety of each individual visiting the centre is of prime importance and is the focus of both the preparation and delivery of all centre activities. It is important to recognise the potential hazard involved in the activities offered at CYESC. Participants and those with parental responsibility must recognise this risk when signing the consent form. However, we manage this risk through the implementation of approved, safe operating procedures for each activity. We make every effort to look after, protect and develop those in our care. We recognise the responsibility passed to us when you place your child or yourself into our care.

		Child Protection As CYESC staff and volunteers, we are committed to the care, protection and safe keeping of all coming to the centre, especially children and young people. The implementation of our child protection policy ensures that every effort is made to protect those in our care. This policy includes obtaining CRB checks for all new staff and volunteers.

Our Purpose

With all activities and events we aim to:

• Present individuals with a personal challenge through healthy, physical and fun outdoor activities, in a Christian environment.
• Develop the work and facilities of the Centre on a continuing basis, to ensure it operates as a well equipped, professionally run Centre, with committed staff offering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
• See visitors learning & developing socially, physically, mentally and spiritually.
• See visitors experiencing Christian love and unconditional, positive regard.
